Children drag and drop The Emps onto a big colourful wheel, flick the arrow to show how they feel in different situations (e.g. home, school, learning, friendship etc) .
Spin the wheel and talk about whichever Emp it lands on. Where do you feel Fraggle in your body? When did Snixx last come to visit? What helps when Dripple stays too long? Every spin opens a different conversation, so it never runs out.
Teachers love it for circle time and small groups. Therapists, psychologists and ELSAs use it in one-to-one work, where the wheel becomes a gentle third thing to look at together.

Two minutes a morning. A class that knows how it feels.
A simple daily routine for the interactive whiteboard: each child taps their name, chooses the Emp that matches how they're feeling, and where that feeling is showing up — learning, friendships, playground or home. Five seconds per child, and every child starts the day noticing and naming their feelings — the skill research tells us underpins emotional regulation, behaviour and learning.
For teachers, the quiet power is in the patterns. See your whole class at a glance, look across the week, and spot what a busy morning hides — the same Emp visiting one child every Monday, or a corner of the class where Fraggle keeps appearing. Set up your class once (with age-group presets for Reception, KS1 and KS2, or your own pick from all 31 Emps) and it's ready every morning after that.
